31 December

This passed year has been nothing like any other year. Virtually no dog shows to attend, no litter this year due to a failed insemination, and lots of time to think about the future.

Our young boy Foppa (Spotdog's Instant Impact) had some nice results this year despite the pandemic, 2x BOB + certificates in 3 countries and his 1st CACIB. He also sired his 1st litter, in Belgium, and we look forward following their development.

We have new plans for 2021 that we are very excited about, and hope the vaccines will make a difference for the world regarding the pandemic.

On this last day of the year we took some new pictures of our dogs at our summer house in Skummeslöv. Enjoy!

24 October

Our Kira (Olrif Zone of Pure Love) had her first litter, and this one is with her co-owner Amanda Sjöland, kennel All About Spots. Five bitches and 4 males, all black, no deaf, no patches and no blue eyes.

4 October

Finally back in the show ring again, this time at Rostock IDS. Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with CACIB first time out in intermediate class. He also gained the title "Sieger Rostock 2020". Judge was breed specialist Petra Rotsch and 31 Dalmatians entered.

15 July

Yet another online dog show, this time the Swedish Dalmatian Club. The judge was Helle Höie from Norway. This time DKJUCH Dalspots Hot Gossip did really well by becoming BOS!!

14 July

The super slow moving online show "Global Dog Show Game 2020" continues and our junior male Spotdog's Instant Impact continue to do well!!! He placed Group-1 for group 6 and Group-1 for junior group 6!! The judge was Marina Scott from the UK.

Her report:

"Very eye-catching masculine dog, well decorated with strong and clear black round spots, well balanced and with plenty of substance, strong head with well placed ears and intelligent expression, good length to mussle, powerful neck, firm topline, good depth of chest, well angulated rear quarters, correct tail set and length, moves with good reach and drive."

Still no dog shows to attend, so we entered another online dog show - Global Dog Show Game 2020. Just for the fun of it. And what results we got!!! These are the placements of our 10 dogs among 148 Dals entered!!! We at kennels "Dalspots", "Spotdog’s" and "All About Spots" are proud of our joint efforts over the last couple of years!  Thank you to the judge Helle Høie , kennel Spotnik, Norway.

In this time of the Corona pandemic and no dog shows to attend, I entered our junior male Spotdog's Instant Impact to the Virtual Dog Show organized by Dalmatiens de France LOF. And he was BOB among 137 entries!!!! A big Thank you to the organizers!

We had a great day at Bö NORDIC show in Norway today. Spotdog's Instant Impact was 3rd best male with the CAC. Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 4th best bitch. Judge was breed specialist Arne Foss. Photo Amanda Sjöland.

9 February

e had a great day at Fredericia IDS in Denmark today. Dalspots I Am Gold attended her 3rd dog show and was BOB-puppy for the 3rd time. Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with both CAC and junior-CAC, but had to pass on the CACIB. BOS was lovely Ch Curias I Dress to Impress. Judge was breed specialist Bengt-Åke Bogren, Sweden, and a total of 27 Dalmatians were entered plus 7 puppies. Due to an approaching storm, we had to leave before the group finals. 3-4 January

Our young dogs had some nice results at MyDog day 1 and day 2 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Day 1: Dalspots I Am Gold attended her very first dog show and was BOB-puppy. Spotdog's Instant Impact won junior class with ck and was BOS-junior. Olrif Zone of Pure Love was BOB-junior and 2nd best bitch with res-CAC. Judge was Liz Cartledge, UK.

Day 2: Dalspots I Am Gold was BOB-puppy and her brother Dalspots Inside Story was BOS-puppy. Spotdog's Instant Impact was 4th best male. Judge was Annika Ulltveit Moe.
