31 December
Year 2023 is almost over! It turned out to be a somewhat different year in many ways, but a good one with some important changes.
We didn't have any litter this year, which was a nice break from breeding. We did attend quite a number of shows (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Poland and Holland), and got some nice results.
- Doris is now SE Ch Dalspots Glory Days, congratulations to her owner Cecilia Ström.
- Rio is now C.I.B.-J* DKJUCh Dalspots King Arthur and has collected 6x CAC, 1x NORDIC CAC and 1x CACIB.
- Patsy is now DKJUCh Tamilanda Instant Sparkle and has collected 2x CAC.
- Spotdog's Instant Impact became a NORDIC champion and a German champion (Club).
Spotdog's Instant Impact made us proud by becoming Top Male and Top-2 Dalmatian in Sweden 2023, and Top black spotted.
He won two Group-1 at Kennel Club shows this year, but only attended the BIS-final at one of them where he was BIS-2.
He also won 2x BOB at Swedish Club shows.
Many of his offspring had successes at shows this year, the biggest achievement was his son WW-20 EUJW-21 Ch Puntinato Ballante Tic Tac Terror becoming BOB at Crufts 2023.

- Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB at the Swedish Club Show in Helsingborg.

- DKJUCh Dalspots King Arthur was BOB and BOB-junior at Szczecin International show.
- Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with Nordic CAC, and placed 3rd in Group 4/6 at Vänersborg Nordic show.
- Dalspots King Arthur won junior-CAC and CAC at the 2nd Danish Club show in Vig, Denmark. This made him a Danish Junior Champion.
- Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won her 3rd junior-CAC and became Danish Junior Champion at the 1st Danish Club show in Vig, Denmark.
- Dalspots King Arthur was BOB-junior with junior-CAC at the 1st Danish Club show in Vig, Denmark.
- Dalspots Knight Traveler was 2nd best male with the CAC and res-Nordic CAC at Hässleholm Nordic dog show.
- Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB, Group 1 and Best In Show-2 at Kristiansand Nordic dog show, Norway.

- Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won junior class with jun-CACIB at Malmö International dog show.
- Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won junior class with jun-CAC at the Nordic dog show in Nyköbing Falster, Denmark.
- Foppa's son NLCh WW-20 EUJW-21 Puntinato Ballante Tic Tac Terror was BOB at Crufts 2023, with 236 entries.
- Dalspots King Arthur was BIS-3 junior at NordSkåKK's puppy-junior & veteran open show in Hässleholm
- Dalspots King Arthur placed 3rd best male with CAC, jun-CAC and jun-CACIB at Fredericia IDS in Denmark
- Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won junior class with jun-CAC and jun-CACIB at Fredericia IDS in Denmark
- Tamilanda Instant Sparkle was BOS and BOB-junior with CAC and jun-CACIB at MyDog1, and a Crufts 2024 qualifier
25 November
Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was invited to NKK's Vinnargallaen 2023 due to his BIS-2 at Kristiansand Nordic show 2023. It was a glittery evening with an incredible show at Oslofjord Convention center. Very happy that we decided to join the show and that we made it through to the 1/8 finals among so many top winners!! Foppa was prepped with glitter and a bow tie, and showed like a pro!! The more applause we got, the happier he was!
16-17 September
What a weekend we just had, with 2x BOB for Foppa - CIB MultiCh Spotdog's Instant Impact
Saturday: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB and 4th in Group 4/6 at Tomelilla Dog Show for judge Eva Liljeqvist Borg. JUCh Dalspots King Arthur won intermediate class with CK, but was not placed in best male.
Sunday: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB at the Swedish Club show in Helsingborg for judge Michael Lehmann. JUCh Dalspots King Arthur was 2nd in intermdiate with CK. Ch Dalspots Glory Days was 4th with CK in champion bitches. Ch Dalspots Inside Story was 5th in champion males.
14 September
Received Foppa's certificate for his German champion (Club). Proud of this: 4 different judges, and won at 4 International shows with BOB at all 4.
3 September
Today Doris finally got her last crowning CAC - SE UCh Dalspots Glory Days. She was BOS with CAC at Öland national show. Judge was Kresten Scheel, DK. Congratulations to her owner Cecilia Ström.
18 August
Took a trip to the 1st show at 3x Vejen in Denmark. Dalspots King Arthur was 3rd best male with CAC and res-CACIB (will be full CACIB). Tamilanda Instant Sparkle was 2nd in intermediate with ck. Judge was Rui Oliveira.
13 August
Our young boy Dalspots King Arthur was BOS with CAC and Nordic-CAC at Ronneby Nordic show. Dalspots Glory Days won open bitch and placed 2nd best bitch with res-CAC and res-Nordic CAC. BOB was Mellanmöllan Living La Vida Loca, who is both a Hector-granddaughter and a Kira-granddaughter. Judge was Eva Nielsen.
5-6 August
Great results at 2x International shows in Oldenburg, Germany.
Day 1: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with CACIB, VDH-CAC and Club-CAC. Judge was breeder Michael Lehmann and 45 Dalmatians entered. Foppa's daughter Fifty-Five von Arabian's Stud was BOB-junior and the brother Fast & Furious von Arabian's Stud was BOS-junior.
Day 2: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with CACIB, VDH-CAC and Club-CAC. Judge was breeder Andrea Mansch and 40 Dalmatians entered.

15-16 July
We had some fantastic results Day 1 at the Swedish Club shows in Tånga Hed. Judge was Jelena Kruus from Estonia, kennel Exlibris Canes.
- CIB-J* DKJUCh Dalspots King Arthur was BOB-junior and 2nd best male with the CAC.
- DKJUCh Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won intermediate bitches and placed 4th best bitch with the CAC.
- CIB Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact won champion class with Club-CAC and then BOB.
Day 2 was not our day, but we felt a bit involved when the daughter of Dalspots Glory Days, Lacillas Mousse au Chocolat took her first CAC. 8 July
Our young boy Dalspots Knight Traveler became NORDJV-23 by winning the junior class at Sandefjord Nordic dog show today. Judge was Elin Normannseth.
7 July
Our young boy DKJUCh Dalspots King Arthur did well at Tvååker International dog show today, expertly handled by my husband Håkan. Rio won junior class and placed 2nd best male with CAC and junior-CACIB. This made him a C.I.B.-Junior (pending). Dalspots In Harmony placed 2nd best bitch with CAC and res-CACIB. Congratulations to her owner Magda! Judge was Marie-Christin Amand, BE.
24 June
Our young boy Dalspots King Arthur did well at Szczecin International dog show in Poland today, by becoming BOB-Junior with junior-CACIB and junior-CAC and later also BOB. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won junior class but the judge held back on junior-CAC/CACIB due to her tail carriage. Judge was Aleksander Skrzynski, PL. Due to the hot weather and long trip back home, we decided to not stay for the group finals this time.
10 June
Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with Nordic-CAC, and placed 3rd in group 4/6 at Vänersborg Nordic Dog Show. Dalspots Knight Traveler got Exc and 2nd in junior class. BOS was All About Spots Chilli Chayenne. Breed judge was Birgit Sluiter, NL, and group judge was Eva Liljekvist Borg.
3-4 June
Attended the double Danish Club shows in Vig this weekend. Dalspots King Arthur was BOB-junior with jun-CAC both days, which made him a Danish Junior Champion. The 2nd day he was also placed 4th best male with the CAC. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won the junior bitch class both days, and with jun-CAC the 1st day that made her a Danish Junior Champion. Judges these days were Lisa Bolt from the UK and Svein Björnes from Denmark.
29 May
Attended the WAFDAL Show 2023 in Utrech, Holland today. There were 109 Dalmatians entered, judged by Carla Peck, NZ (males) and Janet Saunders, GB (bitches). Tamilanda Instant Sparkle placed 2nd in intermediate bitches and Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact placed 3rd in champion males. Proud of my dogs that travelled well and showed well! Nice to get placements in such competition.
Enjoyed meeting up with people I haven't seen for a while including some of our breed's grand old ladies. Also, it was great to finally meet Elizabeth Zedel from Canada after 14 years of online friendship. She is the breeder of Sweetspot Top Gun that I got from her in 2009. Really enjoyed discussing some potential future plans with her.
Got the chance to meet two of Foppa's offspring in Holland, from kennel With A Laugh. The son, Do It Together With A Laugh, placed 3rd in junior class males, a happy family dog to be proud of. I hope his novice owners keep on practicing and showing him, best of luck!
18 May
Attended EDS 2023 in Herning, Denmark today. Dalspots King Arthur placed 2nd in junior class with CK and res-junCAC (vice-EuJW-23, even if that title doesn't exist... hahaha). Ch Spotdogs Instant Impact placed 4th with CK in a strong champion class with 16 entries. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle got Exc in junior class but was not placed. Judge was Bojan Matakovic, HR.
13 May
Dalspots Kinky Boots and her brother Dalspots Knight Traveler had their official debut this weekend at Hässleholm Nordic dog show. Dalspots Knight Traveler won junior class, placed 2nd best dog with the CAC and res-Nordic CAC, and was BOB-junior. Dalspots Kinky Boots won the junior class, placed 3rd best bitch with the res-CAC, and was BOS-junior. Judge was Svante Frisk.
6 May
Dalspots Knight Traveler was BOB and winner of Group 6 at Bjuv BK open show today. His sister Dalspots Kinky Boots placed 2nd with HP out of 3 in junior class bitches.
29 April
Incredible day at Kristiansand Nordic dog show in Norway today. Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB with NORDIC CAC and Jubilee-CAC. This made him a new NORDIC Champion. Breed judge was Mile Aleksoski. Foppa then went on to win Group 4/6 and Best In Show-2. Group judged by Mile Aleksoski and BIS judged by Karl-Erik Johansson. 22-23 April
This weekend was spent in Västerås. Saturday was Västerås National dog show where Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact won BOB and Dalspots King Arthur placed 4th best male with res-CAC. Breed judge was Jussi Liimatainen from Finland.
In the group finals Foppa went all the way and was the winner of group 4/6. Group judge was Laurent Heinesche from Luxembourg.
On Sunday was the Swedish Dalmatian Club show, where Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact placed 4th best male. Judge was Gina Ekström Persson.
Due to a calf muscle rupture this day, I decided to go straight home after the club show and not attend the BIS final.

9 April
Today at Malmö International dog show, Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was 2nd best male with R-CACIB. Dalspots King Arthur was 2nd in junior with CK. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won the junior class with CK and jun-CACIB. Judge Manola Poggesi.
7 April
We attended the Nordic dog show in Nyköbing Falster, Denamrk today. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won the junior class with jun-CAC and Guldborgsund junior winner-2023. Dalspots King Arthur placed 2nd in junior with Exc. Judge was Jean Lawless, IE.
12 March
A fantastic day today for Foppa's (C.I.B. Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact) offspring at Crufts 2023!
His son Tamilanda Instant Envy placed 1st in junior class (12 entries) and 1st in yearling class (16 entries).
His daughter Tamilanda Instant Star placed 1st in junior class (15 entries).
His son NLCh WW-20 EUJW-21 Puntinato Ballante Tic Tac Terror won the Limit class (23 entries), won best male with the CC - and BOB out of 236 entries in the breed!!!!! This was apparently a breed record in entries at Crufts, and largest in utility.

4 March
Danish Dalmatian Club show in Sörbymagle today, and Dalspots King Arthur placed 2nd in junior class out of 6 with CK and res-junCAC. Judge was Bertil Lundgren, and photo Jenny Malm.
11 February
Our juniors did well at Fredericia IDS in Denmark. Dalspots King Arthur had his debut in official class and won the junior class with junior-CAC and junior CACIB. He also placed 3rd best male with the Danish CAC. His half-brother All About Spots Captain Morgan won the res-CAC, so Kira's sons did well! Tamilanda Instant Sparkle won the bitches junior class with junior-CAC and junior-CACIB. Judge was Fabrizio La Rocca from Italy and 49 Dalmatians were entered.
7 January
A great start to the new year at MyDog in Gothenburg. Tamilanda Instant Sparkle was BOS and BOB-junior with CAC and jun-CACIB. She was also qualified for Crufts 2024. Ch Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 2nd best bitch and thereby won the CACIB. Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was 2nd best dog with the res-CACIB. Photo Amanda Sjöland.
